		<description>well for me, it's up, high on my back. I have a large butt, so anything resting against it or bouncing on it is not comfy.
For smaller bags I do about the same, I wear the strap diagonally, and put the bag at my back. 
Messenger bags are really made more for bicycle riders, so the majority of the weight is held by the lower back and the strap just holds the bag up there.</description>
