John DenverLindsey and I sometimes get into odd arguments, and one of them is that a lot of older women look like men. It’s my opinion that there are a lot of women out there that look more like Ed Asner in their prime than they would wish. Lindsey heartily disagrees.

What does this have to do with men who look like old lesbians? Well…it reminded me of this argument. Maybe I should start the “Older Women Who Look Like Men” blog.

Some of the fashions posted are just freaking crazy. They range from innocent girls wearing traditional garbs to people that look like comic book heroes (late 80’s, not Golden Age). It’s an interesting look into northern European fashion and culture while remaining distant enough to appreciate it. It’s also freaking hilarious.

The site says that you cannot use photographs of the people without their permission, but a punk wouldn’t care. If this one did care, then they are not a punk and therefore would out themselves.

Milk Crates

Some MF\'ing Milk Crates

About two years ago when I was moving out of the apartment on Oakridge street, I picked up about 24 milk crates from the coffee shop to pack my books into. The coffee shop owners didn’t mind too much, considering their supplier had neglected to pick up the crates for over six months. Sure, 24 crates was a bit overkill, but I had no clue how many books could be stored in a single crate. Apparently quite a few can be stored in a single milk crate. Thankfully Chris (my roommate at the time) had some books too, along with about 300+ assorted cables and random computer accessories.
